Lane Bryant is known for their incredible, body-positive ads. The retailer made waves with their “This Body” campaign in March, which had models like Ashley Graham, Precious Lee, and Denise Bidot confidently praising their powerful, beautiful bodies. It’s all part of Lane Bryant’s mission to show that all women—of all shapes and sizes—are worth celebrating. And the brand’s new Fall 2016 campaign is body-positive perfection, yet again.
The retailer shared their latest video ad on Monday, and it’s already gone viral. It features actresses Gabourey Sidibe and Danielle Brooks, as well as models Ashley Graham, Candice Huffine, and Alessandra Garcia. In the clip, the women read real, hurtful comments people wrote about them on social media—and they spin the hate in the best way. Clad in sexy black lingerie and white button ups, the beautiful ladies go high when the haters go low.
“No one should be comfortable at a size 14,” Brooks reads. Her response to the insult: “Well, I sure the hell am!” “Do you see those rolls?” Huffine reads. Her clapback: “Welcome to the bakery, honey!” “You ruined Sports Illustrated,” Graham reads, in reference to her stunning Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover. She has a different response to the trolls: “The way I see it, I made it better forever.”

Happily, the video ends with the women reading some of the encouraging comments they’ve gotten on social media, like “Fierceness on fleek,” and “You’re one sexy mama.” My favorite moment: When Brooks euphorically says, “Slay, sister, slay.”
The ad now has almost 2 million views on Facebook, and it’s prompted women to comment with their own photos and body-positive messages. “When this commercial says everything that you ever wanted to say to haters!” one commenter wrote. “It’s literally the most lit commercial ever!” Another commenter was moved to tears by the ad: “So many tears. Thank you Lane Bryant for making it okay to love ourselves no matter our size. Ads like this make me want to rock my curves instead of curse them!”
Lane Bryant’s message at the end of their ad: “Spread the shine.” The brand’s followers are most definitely doing that.
